Welkom bij Koperpoets!

Helden in alle soorten en maten, superhelden, helden op sokken, gewone helden, tekenfilmhelden; een heldenshow van Brass Ensemble Koperpoets.

Iedereen heeft wel een speciale held die vereerd wordt en in onze nieuwste show passeren al deze mogelijke helden de revue. De ongelofelijke verhalen van Mr. en Ms. Incredible, de avonturen van de tovenaarsleerling op Zweinstein, de verhalen van John Snow, helden van intergalactisch formaat, maar ook de wonderen van een superbijtje ontbreken niet. Naast deze supers, zijn er ook geweldige normale mensen. Zeker in deze (bijna) post-corona tijd mogen die niet ontbreken. Koperpoets plaatst al deze helden op een voetstuk, alleen hopen dat ze er niet vanaf vallen!

Opgericht als gelegenheidsformatie in 2006, groeide het ensemble snel uit tot een bijzonder muziektheater gezelschap en viert dus in 2021 haar 15-jarig jubileum. Theaters in Nederland, België, Duitsland, Engeland en ook China hebben de dames en heren reeds mogen ontvangen: De muzikanten: Ralf Driessens (trompet), Frank Aendekerk (trompet), Mirthe Pasmans (trompet), Jeroen van Thoor (Hoorn), Barbara Mehlkop (euphonium), Christof Banken (euphonium) en Marcel Boom (bastuba) hebben hun sporen in de Limburgse blaasmuziek ruimschoots verdiend.

De regie is in handen van Tamara Shelp. De altijd herkenbare muziek wordt speciaal voor het ensemble geschreven door onder andere Rob Balfoort, Johan H. Dokter en hun bassist Marcel Boom.

Everyone has a special hero who is honoured and in our newest show all these possible heroes pass by. The incredible stories of Mr. and Ms. Incredible, the adventures of the wizard apprentice at Hogwarts, the tales of John Snow, heroes of intergalactic proportions, but also the wonders of a super-bee are not missing. Besides these supers, there are also wonderful normal people. Especially in these (almost) post-Corona times, they should not be missing. Koperpoets puts all these heroes on a pedestal, just hope they don’t fall off!

Founded as an occasional formation in 2006, the ensemble quickly grew into a special music theatre company and celebrates its 15-year anniversary in 2021. Theatres in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, England and even China have already welcomed the ladies and gentlemen: The musicians: Ralf Driessens (trumpet), Frank Aendekerk (trumpet), Mirthe Pasmans (trumpet), Jeroen van Thoor (horn), Barbara Mehlkop (euphonium), Christof Banken (euphonium) and Marcel Boom (bass tuba) have more than earned their spurs in Limburg wind music.

Direction is in the hands of Tamara Shelp. The always recognisable music is written especially for the ensemble by, among others, Rob Balfoort, Johan H. Dokter and their bass player Marcel Boom.
